Contemporary West African Fashion - The Bridge to Muslim American Fashion Through Cultural Fusion
Our community, much like a garden, has been recognized for the women, the roses, who have fully bloomed, and we admire the beauty of their full blossom. Rarely do we acknowledge the children, the seeds slowly sprouting from the soil pushing through new kinds of adversity to continue the growth of that same garden. This year we honor these blooming rosebuds for their continued growth even when the light has not been shined on them. This year, we turn over the land for a field of new dreamers.
